I decided to purchase this piece of equipment to be able to have enough equipment to get the hoses off after a long storm. It is a smaller tractor and I have confidence in it. It has some bugs to work out but for the cost it is a steal.
I could not find anywhere in South Africa where I could buy a used unit so I decided to buy a new one. I am very happy with the transaction as it was executed professionally by a reputable company and the price was very fair.
I have a farm with about 3000 acres and my tractor use is very seasonal. This unit is my winter tractor and I use it to till, till the cows off, plough and do some other odd jobs. I expect this tractor to last a long time.
There is a new 25 year warranty on the tractor and a three year warranty on all the major components. The 5 year engine warranty is a worry and one that I will use to try to get a better price on a new unit.
The new Holland diesel engine in this tractor is a super charged engine. It is the largest diesel engine in the industry and has been the preferred choice of many farmers all over the world. It is very reliable and has a great power to weight ratio.
My biggest worry with a used tractor is the engine and I can say that I have now seen nothing but reliability from this engine.
For me the purchase of this tractor has now become a full time occupation and I would not hesitate to recommend Agriline to anyone who wants a reliable piece of equipment at a very reasonable price.
