Category:Driver softwareIn a short video posted to YouTube, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson offers the first hint of an upcoming collaboration between the wrestler and the hero, despite a nearly decade-long gap between their last film together: “Furious 7.” The video, posted by Johnson’s wife Dany Garcia, features the couple singing the 1982 dance-pop hit “Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),” alongside a series of clips from the film. “Get in the back! Get in the back!” Johnson shouts to a group of people in the back of a car, from which he has been pulled.
“Furious 7” is scheduled to hit theaters on May 3, 2015, and will be the third installment in the “Fast & Furious” franchise, which started in 2001 with “2 Fast 2 Furious.” “Godzilla” and “Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” preceded it, and is set to be followed by “Furious 7” and “Furious 8,” if the success of the current film is any indication.
The video has about 24,000 views as of this writing.
Johnson has made it clear he would be up for reprising his role as the dapper, unassuming karate expert “Han,” played by Ludacris. But “Fast and Furious 6” – which was released in 2013 – ended on an ambiguous note, with Han shot by Takagi, and Paul Walker’s Brian Walker killed by an unknown gunman. Many fans (myself included) have long believed that Diesel – who has appeared in every film and played Walker’s Han’s cousin Vin – will pass the torch to Johnson, who starred as one of Diesel’s “Fast” co-stars in “The Fast and the Furious” spin-off “The Tooth Fairy.” ac619d1d87
